A private house above Tirana for a 30th, 40th, 50th or 60th. Dinner outdoors, the party running as long as it wants, everybody staying over — and breakfast by the pool the next morning instead of a clean-up.
Neither a restaurant nor your own living room
A milestone birthday sits awkwardly between a party and a holiday. Restaurants are too formal and end too early. A party at home means the person whose birthday it is spends the evening refilling glasses and the next morning clearing up. Taking a whole house solves both: the celebration runs on your schedule, and somebody else handles the food, the drinks and the mess.
What you get
- The entire property, exclusively — never shared with another group
- Six bedrooms, six bathrooms, sleeping up to 16 with portable beds, so nobody is booking taxis at midnight
- Infinity pool with sunbeds in the shallow water, plus a heated jacuzzi
- A large firepit and a pergola dining area with its own bathrooms, changing room and outdoor shower
- Cinema room, wine cellar and two living rooms for when the party wants a second gear
- Music as loud as you like — there is nobody close enough to complain
It works across generations
This is the test most rental properties fail. Grandparents need somewhere shaded and comfortable to sit. Small children need water they can stand up in — the pool has a shallow section, so adults can be in it and still be supervising. Teenagers need to be able to disappear, and the cinema room handles the point in the afternoon when the children have had enough sun. Pets are welcome, which matters more than people expect when the whole family travels.
Surprise parties
A steady number of our bookings are surprises — a partner organising a significant birthday, a family flying in without telling someone. A private house is far easier to keep quiet than a restaurant: no booking name for anyone to spot, no venue to give the game away. Say so when you enquire and every confirmation goes to the organiser only. We will also work out arrival timings so nothing is visible before it should be.
Food and drinks
Cooking for fifteen is nobody’s idea of their own birthday. We cater as much or as little as you want — breakfast each morning, one big grill night, or every meal — and handle drinks from a cocktail reception through to the bar for the rest of the night. Grill nights are the usual choice, because they run long and nobody is stuck in an assigned seat.
Practical details
- Sleeps: up to 16 across six en-suite bedrooms
- Party size: a seated dinner is usually 80 to 100 guests, and a standing celebration can take up to 180
- Where: Picallë, about fifteen minutes from central Tirana, around forty from the airport
- Transfers: a van and driver, arranged per flight — families rarely arrive together
- Booking ahead: summer weekends go first, often months in advance
