Everybody under one roof
Getting an extended family into one place is harder than it sounds. People arrive from different countries on different days, the ages run from two to eighty, and somebody always ends up in a hotel down the road feeling slightly excluded.
Six bedrooms and six bathrooms, sleeping up to 16 with portable beds, keeps everyone in the same house. That matters more than it sounds: the conversations people came for tend to happen in the kitchen at eleven at night, not during the scheduled dinner.
It has to work for every age
This is the practical test most holiday properties fail.
- Grandparents — shaded, comfortable places to sit, and no stairs required to reach the pool terrace
- Small children — the infinity pool has a shallow section they can stand up in, with sunbeds set into the water, so adults can be in the pool and still be supervising
- Teenagers — a cinema room, a wine cellar and two separate living rooms, so they can disappear without leaving
- Everyone else — a table big enough to actually eat at, under the pergola, with its own two bathrooms, a changing room and an outdoor shower

Arriving on different flights
Families rarely land together. We arrange airport transfers per flight rather than as a single pickup, so nobody sits in arrivals for three hours waiting for cousins. Tirana International is around forty minutes away; the city centre is about fifteen.
We also run a van and driver for the days you want to go out — a trip to Krujë or the coast, or dinner in Tirana — which for a group this size costs less than taxis and removes the parking problem entirely.
Nobody should spend the week cooking
Cooking for fifteen relatives is not a holiday for whoever ends up doing it. We cater as much or as little as the family wants: breakfast every morning, one big grill night, or every meal. Grill nights are the usual choice for reunions — they run long and nobody is stuck in an assigned seat.
